Service Tracker™ Pilots Show Increase in Service Department Profitability and Efficiency
Dealers who have been piloting the latest Service Tracker™ software including two major Groups have both reported increase in income and efficiency within their service departments.
In particular, the SMS text function which reminds customers of their appointment date and time has slashed customer ‘no shows’ down to virtually nil in some cases. One dealer who historically had 3 to 4 ‘no shows’ per week has reported only two since introducing Service Tracker™ nearly 3 months ago. Also replacing the traditional ‘snail mail’ service reminder letters with SMS texting, saves the average dealer from £10,000 to £15,000 p.a.
Sales of sell up items such as Air conditioning re-gas etc, have also soared due to the Health check which is automatically generated by the system. Launch to the General Trade will be end November 2006.
