Lock-down Leads To New Developer Opportunities At FISC
Following the successful implementation of its business continuity plan where all FISC staff moved from office to home working as a result of the lock-down, FISC management has decided to make this change permanent for some of its development team. This change in working practice coincides with a new recruitment drive for Web Developers.
Commenting on the change Aaron Burton Chief Technical Officer said, “We have been massively impressed by the productivity of our team during lockdown, so much so that we believe that our team will only need to visit the offices one or two days a fortnight going forward for Sprint Ceremonies. This will really help us move forward and will give us the space and resources to continue to expand the development team. We currently have vacancies for four Web Developers and the ability to work from home will enable us to recruit from much further afield from cities such as Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham as well as locally – previously too far for a daily commute. As well as being a market-leading company, our benefits package is best in class including 24 days holiday, a 37.5 hour flexible working week, pension and private health as standard. The ability to work from home is now the icing on the cake”.
