Frontend Web Developer
FISC are the creators and originators of trailblazing software in the motor industry used by over 2000 motor dealerships in the UK and internationally. As our business continues to grow and our customers put further reliance on FISC systems to drive their own businesses forward, it is vital that FISC continues to provide the high standard of service that they have come to expect from our dedicated and experienced development and support teams.
To maintain our rapid growth, we are on the lookout for experienced Full Stack Web Developers to join our highly successful development team.
The successful candidates will bring their knowledge and experience to enhance our dynamic development team, using cutting edge technology to push our extensive range of innovative, industry-leading software platforms into the future.
The role will have touch points throughout the development cycle from the early stages of design to the final deployment, but will be primarily focused on coding system functionality from agreed-upon specifications. This will include bug-fixes and enhancements to existing systems as well as project work, building new systems and modules to extend our product portfolio.
High attention to detail is required, along with personal quality control, strong communication skills, and the ability to perform well in a team. We operate an Agile development methodology, working in goal-focused sprints, so familiarity of this way of working would be advantageous.

- Frontend framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc)
- Experience with Git
- React 16
- Packaging tools (e.g. Webpack, Parcel, etc)
- CSS pre-processors (LESS, SASS)
- Experience with backend development
- Experience of unit testing frameworks
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Commercial development experience
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services

This role can be home-based for experienced developers, or office-based at our Sheffield HQ. Home-based workers will be expected to attend the office when required.
