Business Development & Training Manager

The post holder will work closely with the all members of FISC’s senior management team to grow sales and utilisation of our systems to motor dealers, manufacturers and finance companies both at home and overseas.  You will be responsible for the business development both to new and existing clients.  This may take the form of contacting new and existing clients, consulting with clients, holding regular client review meetings and system demonstrations. A major part of this role will be carrying out system training (both face-to-face and virtual, in dealer and classroom) as well as sessions on the key skills required to operate eMaster such as making the customer call.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of working within the motor industry, preferably in a sales, finance or a training capacity.  You will be able to demonstrate the skills required to deal with clients at all levels from Sales Executives to Board members of major companies.

You will be responsible for achieving company goals and profit targets as well as as well as generating training and consultancy revenue for the company and this will include the creation and maintenance of other end-user communications, including system user guides, training and best practice videos and authoring online training courses to be delivered through our own online learning management system.

In addition, the successful candidate will need to be IT literate and able to become fully conversant with all of our software products; be able to provide support and training to end users, as well as assisting in the testing and deployment of systems and developments.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A strong motor sales/finance background
  • Be goal oriented and able to show success
  • Good training skills
  • Be a self-starter
  • Have an excellent grasp of the English language
  • Have excellent communication skills and a good telephone manner
  • Have a high attention to detail
  • Be able to organise and prioritise workload and to cope with frequent task changes
  • Have a high level of IT literacy
  • Have an excellent working knowledge of desktop office applications (in particular Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Be familiar with internet and email use
  • Have an ability and desire to learn new skills and processes
  • Have a positive attitude and a flexible approach to work
